Event: Carniriv 2013 was a Success 

Carniriv 2013 has come to an end. But the memories linger. It was a perfect distraction from the political happenings in the country. Tens of thousands came out to participate in the various events put up free of charge. For a lot of people, this was an ideal situation to get to see LIVE their loved superstars.



Tagged the Green World Edition, it was officially flagged off on the 24th of September, 2013 at a World Media Conference held at the Banquet Hall of Hotel Presidential, Port Harcourt. The unveiling saw a colourful display of the Rivers cultural heritage and performances that included the Carnival Theme song.
 The carnival started on the 15th of December with the Kids Carnival & The Carniriv Praise Jam which featured Gospel Musicians & Ministers of God  to thank & pray to God for a successful Concert/Cultural Display & More .

The official opening of the Carnival kicked off on Monday 16th Dec.2013 (Dance Of Fire

Flies) & ended on the 21st of December with a Peace Concert . Carniriv2013  also gained support from celebrities, musicians,Actors and comedians such as P-Square ,Davido,Terry G,Sound Sultan,D Smart,Burna Boy,Duncan Mighty,Chaka Demus & Pliers,K Cee,Wande Coal,M.i,Fortune ,Oba Omega,Buckwild,Lady iB,Singerman Flash,Muma Gee,Rymzo,Jah Wonder,Zig Zag,Dantonio,Sunny BoBo,Dj Joenel , Julius Agwu ,& others who to made the carnival more interesting .

Carniriv which of recent (2013) was added to Wikipedia also got over 30 million online hits for info, photos & videos which was published via various blogs,facebook,twitter & other social networking site  .
