PLEASE READ, INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY...

Are you making the kind of money you need to be as happy you can possibly imagine?
Do you have a job/business you have worked hard to build that pays you a high salary
and provides you security and fulfillment?
Are you financially prepared for any downturn in events? Unforeseen circumstances like a loss of job,
reduction in salary etc
If you offer a particular service and that service becomes obsolete, what happens then?
We all need multiple streams of INCOME!
This is no longer a luxury,it has become a NECESSITY.
If the high rate of unemployment and mounting job losses have taught us anything it is that
NOBODY'S JOB IS SAFE.
What better way to use your extra income than using it to grow another income stream?
What better industry to invest in than the Nigerian Music Industry.

Right now is the best time to make a ton of money in music business. It is by far
the easiest (though very technical) way to make money if you have the experience/
connections in PR/media and understand how the industry works and at the same time contributing to the economy by employing and engaging the youths meaningfully.

The global music industry/business which consists of companies/individuals (Record Labels, Singers, Producers etc)
who make money from creating and selling music is estimated at 40 billion dollars annually.

Some sources of income in the industry include, but not limited to;
1) CD/DVD Sales: A Port Harcourt bred  musician Timaya, recently sold his music album to a music marketer/distributor
for 28 million naira while more established acts like PSquare have sold albums for as high as 50million naira.
Female singer, Tiwa Savages' (who returned from the UK to do music in Nigeria) album is for sale on
online retailer - KONGA.com for 500 naira for a copy.If she sells up to 500,000 copies, out of 150,000,000
Nigerians, she will be making 250 million naira.

2) Live Shows: Nigerian singer Wizkid, 23 years of age, makes an average of 24 - 32 million naira
MONTHLY from shows. He charges 2-4 million per show and attends an average of 4 shows weekly.
He released his first album JUST 4years ago in 2009.

3) Endorsements: Multinationals like MTN, AIRTEL, and big major Nigerian brands like GLO, NB Plc
sign endorsement deals with musicians running into hundreds of millions annually.

You are now presented with an opportunity to invest and earn attractive returns without undue risk

STAR.DORM Entertainment, a Port Harcourt based Record Label and Entertainment Company is seeking for a loan of 3 million Naira from bold investors who are interested in taking advantage of the opportunities
in the fastest growing sector and Nigerias biggest export brand in recent years

SIZE MATTERS but....

It was the case of a young man with an average build walking, and three other hefty young men with exceptional builds walking behind him, with their shoulders squared and faces looking fierce. In my curiosity I asked who they were. And I was told he is an ambassador and they are his aids.
Then I looked at the difference in their sizes again and it dawned on me that it's the size of the MIND, not the size of the MAN that makes the man. (Ask Aki & Paw Paw if you doubt me)
Life has shifted paradigms. In this 21st century, it's no longer survival of the fittest but survival of the smartest.
It's not a thing of man power but of mind power. Success is no longer in strength but in SENSE.
Thus it is the content of the man that makes him standout.
POINT: Fill your head with proper values and you cannot be ignored.
It is what you have in your head that puts you ahead, not the size of your head or the style of you hair. ...

GET INSPIRED....LIFE LIKE SUGAR

Success is what happens to you when you command more value than you demand...that makes you an attraction.
Observe that you have to be an attraction before people get attracted to you. People come around you cos of what you do, what you have and who you are;
People admire you for what you possess that they like and wish to have,
People appreciate you for what you do that they or others need,
People celebrate you for what you achieve that is commendable,
But people follow you for who you are that they are not.
Point: You can attract everything in life if you build yourself aright, it takes you to bring them- make your life like 'sugar' and you'll attract the 'ants'.

RSG To Name Monument After Ex-Speaker

Rivers State Government will immortalise late former Speaker, Rt. Hon. Tonye Harry by naming a monument in his honour.
The State Governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi who gave the hint last Wednesday during a Service of Songs for late Harry at the Civic Centre in Port Harcourt said before the decision would be announced, he and the current Speaker of the State House of Assembly would meet to agree on what monument to name after the late Speaker who died last month after a heart attack.
Governor Amaechi said, “we would put our heads together, myself and the Speaker and we would immortalise Tonye’s name. We would try and look at what is important. Amaechi described the late former Speaker who was also a Deputy Speaker in the House of Assembly from 1999-2007, as an administrator and attributed his success as Speaker largely to the contributions of his deputy.
“It means that at any point in time, you can rely on his sagacity; you can rely on his ability to be able to manage situations. You can rely on the fact that he was also a good administrator. I cannot claim to have been a successful Speaker without Tonye’s contributions”, Amaechi recalled.
In his tribute, Senator Magnus Abe described Harry’s sudden death as a shock to him, “this is the most difficult moment of my life. Tonye was a friend and a brother … the reality and finality of what has happened has dawned on everybody”.
Abe and Harry were colleagues at the Assembly between 1999-2003. “We were in the seventh Assembly, we were not only friends and colleagues but a family. He was not just a friend, but a brother”.
Abe said he was pained over Harry’s sudden demise, as he regretted not attending the birthday of the late former Speaker which according to him was the last social landmark in the life of Harry.
Leader of the State House of Assembly, Chidi Lloyd recalled how late Harry stood by him during his travails in the crisis that rocked the House, stating that the late former Speaker visited him in detention even in the court and pressed for his release.
Delivering a sermon at the event, South-South Secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev. Felix Ekiye challenged public office holders to learn from the life of late Harry.
Rev. Ekiye said public office should be used for the betterment of society such that when one leaves or dies, the people would have good memory of one.
